Duncan Ridge Bikepacking Route | 70 Miles, 7,400′

North Georgia Bikepacking Route (Duncan Ridge Loop):

The Duncan Ridge Loop has over 7,400 feet of climbing, with the majority of the elevation coming within the first 40 miles. The loop is aslo close to 70 miles in length, which should be long enough to keep pushing you to make it to your camp site, but at the same time allow you to enjoy the beautiful scenery around you.

What’s great about the area surrounding the route is you can add in more singletrack, gravel roads and/or fast pavement. The Bull/Jake Mountain offers miles of great flowy singletrack that can be added in on the south side, but as you cross over the ridge you are only left with gravel roads or closed forest service roads that probably dead end into open wild life clearings. If you’re into fishing, bring your pole because Cooper Creek is known for its trout.
